Hi All,

If I know the outbound delivery, how can I find the Warehouse Tasks from table relationship, what is the table relationship flow?

Also where can I find EWM table relations? I mean from Outbound delivery -> Warehouse Tasks -> Handling Units etc

Regards

MS

Hi!

Maybe you set different availability group and Mandatory checkbox in Storage type settings.

Hi!

Most usable WT tables:

/scwm/ordim_o

/scwm/ordim_c

Relationship by fields: RDOCID,RITMID, QDOCID,QITMID

HU:

/scwm/huhdr

Relationship in table /scwm/huref

Hi,

your screenshot of the storage type should show the lower part.

Probably it is not the availability, but what about the field "Non-Dep. Stock Type"? If this is setup like in the example, stock could not be in another stock type.

Re: The serial number scanning during a shipment

Hi Sergey,

the behaviour for Serial numbers on inventory level ('C') should be like this in outbound process:

- as long as you move the complete HU (HU-WT) or the total quantity incl. the HU (product-WT) a scanning of the individual Serial numbers should not be required

- if you have a partial quantity of the HU in a warehouse task, the system needs to know which SN you're moving -> you need to scan the SNs

So from my point of view you should try to have the complete quantity in one WT.

Matthias

Hi Arnulf,

the standard removal strategy is managing the available quantities on top-HU Level (see storage type customizing: "Level of Available Qty."), but not on sub-HU Level.

If you Need to have it on sub-HU level during pick-WT-creation you can either enter it manually (as you're already figured out) or you have to use the BAdI in the stock removal strategy (RMS_DETERMINE / RMS_QUANTITY).

Unable to transfer Batch Classification data to EWM

$

Hi,

We have ECC-EWM system connectivity established. As per the process, at the time of doing GR in EWM, a qRFC is getting triggered for ECC (From EWM) to create material batch and classification values in ECC. Once the material batch is created in ECC, it will be transferred back to EWM along with its classification values and GR will be completed in EWM for that batch. The material batch with classification values are getting created in ECC, but while transferring the batch values to EWM, only batch number is getting populated in EWM system. The classification values are not getting transferred to EWM system.

Can anybody suggest why system sends only the batch numbers, not the classification values? Which Function Module/BAPI should I check in ECC which transfers batch and its classification values to EWM?

When I manually transfer the batch master through CIF, the classification values are getting transferred properly.

Please suggest.

Thanks

SBS

Inspection lot in ECC for inbound delivery is not created. Also, stock type in inbound delivery document in EWM is Q3 and not Q4.

Hello all,

I am using EWM 9.1

In procurement for stock from external vendor for material with QM view, all ECC and EWM configuration settings and master data are in place.

Inspection object type 4 (IOT4) and inspection rule for the product is in place in EWM.

Upon goods receipt and put away in EWM, stock is supposed be in Q4 (Stock in QI in warehouse). This should create inspection lot in ECC.

Here are two issues.

1. Inspection lot in ECC is not created.

2. Warehouse monitor in EWM shows stock type Q4 but inbound delivery document of EWM shows that it is Q3 (Stock in QI in put away).

Are these two issues linked to the same root cause?

Can you please advice solution?

Please let me know if you need additional info to identify root cause.

Regards,

Chaitanya

Hello..

The Non-Dep. Stock Type field is blank.Although the Mandatory Checkbox was checked.

When I unchecked the Mandatory Checkbox I was able to perform the POSTING CHANGE.

Thanks

Is there a way to block a bin when a minimun quantity is reached?

$

Hi Gurus

Is it possible to block a bin after a mínimum quantity is reached?

We need to keep some bins with a mínimum quantity and if that quantity is reached we want SAP to stop us from taking material from it.

It is something like to have a security inventory level at bin level rather tan to have it at plant level (IM management).

Hope it is clear and thanks in advance

I do not think, by Standard, there is such a functionality available. You need to enhance it.

Why do not you implement Replenishment Functionality, which will always ensure you to have certain stock in your bin.

Hello,

So far there is no such standard functionality .

Blocking a bin can effect the putaway and picking for that bin.

SAP has provided replenishment feature to replenish bin whenever it reach min. qty.

Determination of too old wharehouse tasks

Dear Exprerts,

I hope you could give me some tipps to following question regarding EWM 9.2:

We have several queues with many wharehouse tasks in them.

Is it possible to deteerminate "to old" wharehouse task in the system? For example I define that when the warehous task hasn't been confirmed for more than 1 hour, the system'll set some exception or alert or anything else? So an email will be sent to the responsible persons.

PS: I had an idea to write a z-report for this purpose, but I can't imagine that it is not possible with the standard settings.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Juergen,

thank you very much for the responce.

Well I've found the possibilitie to display the overdue warehouse task in the Warehouse Cockpit:

1.JPG

And I also found out that as the parameter the Latest Starting Date will be use.

Now I only have a question how I can determinate this LSD in the way LSD = creation time + my_parameter (e.g. 1 hour).

Do you have any tipps may be? As far I know its connected with the ressource management, but I've only seen how I can round this LSD...

Thanks and BR.

Hi Denis,

the LSD calculation is described here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ewm93/helpdata/en/f2/c7cb53ad377114e10000000a174cb4/content.htm?frameset=/en/e2/cecb53ad3771…

The rounding is an important factor, as usually it is simply not possible to calculate this time exactly (the system can calculate it, but it does not know all actual circumstances).

This overdue calculation is a strange thing, I have never worked with it. The time you enter there is the time WHEN something is overdue (so if you enter 2 hours, it shows you WTs which are overdue in 2 hours). But I do not really understand how this overdue time is calculated. And what you want to do (creation time + your 1 hour) is not possible in the selection there. But this you can actually enter in the "normal" list display of WTs (under "Documents --> Warehouse Tasks"). The selection screen has the creation date, you just create a variant with a dynamic date / time calculation.

In the Monitor you can get a display of overdue tasks, but you where looking for an active process by the system, then the measurement service would be the choice.
