Re: Using table TMAPSTLOC to get Plants for an EWM Report/Output

Hi Raphael,

the /SCWM/TMAPSTLOC is used for mapping for the ERP storage location to an EWM availability group (that will later be used for stock type determination). Therefor the entries are similar and the number of entries is usually low.

As I do no 100% understand your requierement I'm not sure if this table is right for you.

I understand that you want to determine the production plant. May be the inbound delivery could be a better source. Via partners you should be able to identify the source.

Best regards,

Christian

Good day Christian,

Thank you for the response. Could you please elaborate further on what you mean by using Inbound delivery?

I've done a bit of checking and found these tables. Are they the ones that you mean by using "Inbound Delivery".

/SCDL/DB_PROCH_I  Inbound Delivery: Header

/SCDL/DB_PROCI_I   Inbound Delivery Item

Thank you.

Raphael.

Hi Ramos,

these are the tables I was talking about. But you should not select the tables directly but use the query method of /SCWM/CL_DLV_MANAGEMENT_PRD to derrive he deliver data. Via the partner data you should be able to determine the source of a product...

However this will be difficult to determine the source after the final putaway when the delivery reference is deleted.

Best regards,

Christian

Hi Sasidhar,

you can use the /SCWM/CL_WM_PACKING class to create and repack stock. There is a get instance method to get the singleton object If you are not in the Packing standard transaction, you have to initialize your environment first!

Cheers

Hi,

Did you create your own telegram structure?

/SCWM/S_MFS_TELETOTAL is standard structure which you need to convert. For example, you can't use "QUAN" type in your telegram structure. Copy this structure and replace QUAN data types as CHAR.

Hope this helps,

Best regards.

How does Rough bin determination work?

$

Dear Experts,

We use a special reserve area, from where we also pick also.

To these storage types we won't do replenishment, because we do it from that these storage types.

How does Rough bin determination work? For me the table  /SCWM/DB_ITEMSPL contains a row for a quantity 40, even if it the storage bin in that row has stock only 20 pieces.

My assumption is, that its designed so, because it happens before the replenishment, it plans to pick 40, and if the order based replenishment at checking the bin in this row in that table does not find 40, only 20 pieces, then it does the replenishment. If that is the case, can I turn this function off for specified storage types?

The requirement is, that the rough bin determination only creates a new row for the specified storage type in the table  /SCWM/DB_ITEMSPL, if the stock is there. For our pick storage types it should not take the stock in consideration, so the rough bin determination should be able to write more quantities for other storage types.

If it's not possible, is there a BADI, which I could use for this functionality? Or do you have any idea how this problem could be solved?

Best Regards,

Tamas Becker

Hi Tobias

I tried to debug the existing program several times and found that it is using "/SCWM/CL_WM_PACKING" but few things I am missing to find out. So, I need to more understanding on "initializing environment". Please help.

Part 1: Getting HU Number from number range object.

Part 2: Updating HU Header and item details

Part 3: Packing

Part 1: Getting HU Number from number range object

This is bit simpler. In the configuration, number range maintained for the packaging material type. We are getting the latest number from there. We have achieved this part.

Part 2: Updating HU Header and item details

In the standard functionality, when we drag and drop material into HU, standard functionality is updating HU header, delivery reference etc.. details. This part is not clear. Need more details.

Part 3: Packing

In the standard functionality, it is creating a task. Is it really sufficient to confirm packing?

Thanks

Hi Sohan

STO is same as normal purchase for EWM.

Do all config as same as ECC STO.

For EWM WH it will check distribution model and create IBD and EWM IDN and OD and ODR.

Are you getting any issue ? please update in your post we can help.

when you start executing process you will get some ecc issue. As it comes post here I will try to resolve.

I hope you are clear what I want to say.

Rightly said by Suraj, It does not require additional setting in EWM system, as your Inbound and Outbound deliveries are originating from ECC.

One additional thing you can consider to have the same handling units in the supplying and receiving plant if you are using HU, as this can decrease the double work in receiving plant.

You can use output type SPED to get that done.

FDO waves

HI All

I have orders that come in the warehouse as future dated ,meaning order is placed today and delivery is for the next 2 days, and in that this delivery needs to be picked a day before the delivery date.when the system creates the waves for these type of orders it assigns the last wave template option.for instance if it picked up wave template 50,in this template it only allocates/assigns the wave to the last wave option in this template 50.this is the last wave for the day.I want the system to assign the next available wave option instead of just assigning it to the last one.I hope i am making sense and that htere is a hero out there.

in this pic the order is created today for delivery tommorow.and as seen below the template is 102 and option 10 which is the last option. This delivery was created at 13:26 so it should have picked up the wave template option 8 atleast.

wave.PNG

In the second pic below, you will see that it has assigned it to the last option or wave in this template.I have tried mantaining the time intervals to try and accormodate the FDO's but with no luck,it still assigns it to the last one.i need the system to check all templates avaialable and assign the order to the next wave run and not only the last one.

EWM- Inbound Process with Deconsolidation is not working for me even i followed SAP help

Please share any config steps with this process

Re: EWM- Inbound Process with Deconsolidation

I followed settings

Configuration Document for Deconsolidation

Define Process Oriented Storage control

Step 1

SPRO-EWM-cross process setting-warehouse task-define process oriented storage control

Step 2

Setupwarehouse process type, destination storage for your external steps. Do not check the rules based check box if you are giving the destination data

don’t have to mention the destination data for final putaway step that is IB03, the destination data for final putaway will be determined by the storage type and bin determination strategy

Step 3

Define storage process

Assign the steps in the storage process

Step 4

Warehouse process type

The warehouse process type used is 1011, the other WPTs for moving to staging is 3060 and for stage to pack is 3065

Step 5

Check the storage types

Storage type role should be F (doors) for the unloading storage type

Step 6

Define work centre

But still process is not working

if anybody has Config steps and process step , please share with me

Hi,

".I want the system to assign the next available wave option instead of just assigning it to the last one."

But this is not what the system does. The system always uses the last possible wave option, that is the idea behind it. If you want to have the wave processed earlier, you need to maintain only one option for early morning.

Stock removal FIFO in storage types

$

Hi...

Multiple storage types AB01, AB02, AB03, AB04 (high rack storage types) are there in EWM warehouse.

Putaway completed,

for article A in  AB03 storage type having GR date 09.01.2013

for article A in AB04 storage type having GR date 12.02.2013

for article A in AB02 storage type having GR date 20.03.2013

for article A in AB01 storage type having GR date 12.04.2013

As per FIFO stock removal strategy sequence must be as follows

1.     AB03

2.     AB04

3.     AB02

4.     AB01

Currently its going in the sequence AB01, AB02, AB03, AB04.

Can anyone share the FIFO stock removal strategy config

Please suggest how this can be corrected.

Re: Express delivery option in EWM ?

If you are deciding as Rush or Normal delivery before distribution then you go route of Document type mapping.

If you are deciding as Rush or Normal delivery after distribution then you go route of determining Warehouse Process type & WOCR in EWM.

Thanks,
Aravind
