Hi Experts,
we are looking for performance metrics for SAP EWM. Can we use the Dialog Response time like in ERP systems?
If not are there any other Performance indicators to use? Maybe the ICM HTTP Response time, because our customer works with scanníng devices in the warehouse which communicate with ITS mobile.
Thanks for any ideas!
Thilo Maurer
Thilo,
Performance is measured the same way on the SCM server as ECC with dialog transactions. RF transactions are little different and these are monitored using a separate transaction, there is a guide in solution manager called EWM RF performance monitoring that will help out and explains how to measure.
There is also a document called "Retail Warehouse Management with SAP software" that includes good throughput metrics which I used when trying to benchmark customers systems.
Hope that gets you started.

Hello all,
We have a new EWM warehouse which has no stock.
All bins are empty.
I am trying to create some stock using physical inventory adjustment.
Product master has indicator for cycle counting.
While trying to create physical inventory document (cycle counting), system gives message - Selection produced no results.
Basically no bins are showing up for which physical inventory document can be created.
Can you advice why no document is created?
Do I need to have some stock in the bin before I can create cycle counting physical inventory document?
Thanks,
Chaitanya
Hi Alex,
Thanks for the inputs. I believe the Number range deletion discussed in the above thread is in ECC. We dont have an ECC system connected.
Please correct me if i'm wrong.
To be more precise on the issue, is it possible to remove the manual OD creation button at item level in ODO transaction.
Kindly help us with ur inputs.Looking forward.
Many Thanks,
Vijay
Hi Chaitanya,
You mentioned that you need to create the initial stock, then use MB1C to jack up the initial stocks. If you want to increase the stock via PID then use manual PID creation instead of cycle counting.

Hi,
Cycle Counting is product related - so I would suppose you have to have stock before you can create PI documents. For such a situation you would have to create add-hoc PI documents for bins (not product related).
But for an initial stock upload you better use the transaction /SCWM/ISU.

Hi,
Is it possible to create One storage location for multiple stock types, because when I'm trying with stock type F2, it is not allowing to create the WT.
Pls suggest on the same.

Hi!
You can use cond.technique in SAP EASY ACCESS:
Extended Warehouse Management - Delivery Processing - Actions - /SCWM/DLVPPFC - Maintain Condition Records for PPF Schedule Conditions
BR,Alex.
Hi!
You should delete number ranges in EWM SPRO:
Extended Warehouse Management - Interfaces - ERP Integration - Delivery Processing - Control Message Processing Dependent on Recipient
BR, Alex.
Hi!
You can create, for example:
St. loc + St.type ERP = St.type EWM
1000 + F = F2
1000 + B = B2
BR, Alex.
Hi Sunil,
Thank you,Its working.....
Thanks a lot Alex,
We have removed the number range for the delivery split. Its working fine.
To add on a point on the scenario,
If we have a batch split, then warehouse task is not getting confirmed. So we just added 00 as number range number and no intreval is assigned for 00.
Its working fine for all cases.
Regards,
Vijay
Hello all
I am trying to find out all the Task completed or created newly using some exception codes. Say, Partial Pick Denial.
Is there any way i can identify all of them at one go or may be Warehouse order by order ?
Appreciate your help.
