Re: LOSC with partial picking from the bin

Hi Malay,

 

LOSC can only be triggered for task with Handling units.

 

Try creating a Pick HU for the partial qty that you have picked and perform the transaction in RF.

Because in RF all task confirmations are done in 2 steps

i) Source to resource and

ii) Resource to destination. Since the resource to destination has HU (pick HU) it may trigger the LOSC.

 

I had a similar requirement where the source HU is not proposed for that storage type but i had to trigger a LOSC after picking . Whenever we  executed the transactions through desktop it wont trigger the LOSC. But when the same task was performed in RF it showed a different behavior as explained above.

Hi,

are you sure that there really is no EGR created? Because for me the log also never show something. Just that documents got deleted, but never if anything has been created - which is simply that the log does not contain this information.

Recurring appointment in Dock Appointment Scheduling

Hi All,

 

We are implementing Dock appointment scheduling and there is a requirement to have the recurring appointment in Dock appointment scheduling.

Please suggest how to do the recurring appointment with the same time slots and other details like carrier, means of transport, loading point etc..

For example if we have created the appointment for today for time slot 7AM to 8 AM for specific carrier then system will automatically create the next appointment for tomorrow with same details.

Hi,

the flag "confirm immediately" means that when you create the WT, you can immediately set the flag for confirmation in the moment when you create the WT (the example on the screenshot is for the manual creation without any reference).

If the flag is not set in the WPT, then you can also not set the flag during the WT creation.

 

The flag "Propose confirmation" by itself does not do anything at all. Only in combination with the other flag, it immediately confirms the WT after the creation.

That is the same behavior as in WM...

Hello RG K,

 

you could define a removal rule based on Stock ID for example and make it descending. In that case system should do something similar to LIFO. Stock ID is concatenate of warehouse number and warehouse task number. But I am not sure if this will help you.

It is more typical as Suraj suggests. For bulk bins you should have product WT and pick whatever HU comes first.

No. Because that is not what the bulk strategy is meant for. The system has no knowledge about the physical position of one pallet in the bulk.

Yes, it is. Because in the bulk strategy it does not make sense to have to forklift driver pick a specific bin. Again, this it not what it is build for.

 

You should keep in a bulk bin only one material / batch, and keep this kind of material with different batches you have there in separate bins.

Hi RG,

 

As you having multiple batches of same product with same manufacturing dates then why the operator need to pick one HU which is behind other front HU's. He should be free to pick up the front HU's first and then he can pick other HU's as n when required. It should not cause any issues or harms for picking.

 

I am not clear exactly what is your requirement, if possible can you elaborate more about your requirement.

Have you created Distribution Model for your ERP WM warehouse which is linked to EWM warehouse in integrations settings in ECC:

Hi RG

If you choose button DELETE and CREATE then as per standard system behaviour it should deleted the existing EGR's and should create new EGR as per entered criteria. Have you checked in /SCWM/GRN tcode?

Hi,

 

The purpose is to generate the outbound delivery which will be interface to EWM system. GI will be done in EWM system and this GI will be interfaced to ECC for background posting of GI for that reservation. This material has enough stock, so does not require any PO. A reservation is created for this material and for which outbound delivery will be created.

Outbound delivery get generated when you executing MIGO, system does not post material document but create outbound delivery which goes to EWM. Materail document get posted when PGI is posted in EWM. Perform MIGO with reference to your reservation to trigger OB for EWM


OMT3R transaction in material master settings

Hello All

 

I am using OMT3R transaction to update the screen sequencing related to WM packaging& WM execution views after activating /SPE/MATERIAL_SCREENS BC sets.

 

OMT3R transaction which is used to sequence the views of material master - I found that this activity is not transport relevant; That means, do we have to do this independently in each client?


Please correct me if I am wrong.

Cannot Clear U-Zone

Hello all - We have an issue and hope you can help.  Someone (somehow) did not properly clear out a post change notice (t-code LU04) and instead use t-code LT01 movement type 999 to manually create transfer orders.  Now, we have a negative / positive quantities in interim storage type 922 u-zone.  We tried to clear the differences via LI21 but that did not work, we actually ticked off our accounting group posting a $500,000 inventory adjustment.  We were able to reverse the posting but we still have the issue.  We cannot transfer the positive quantity to the negative quantity... it only exacerbates the issue by increasing the negative quantity and positive quantity.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can clear up this issue?

Not a lot to go on here but maybe the best bet is to just reverse the original movement that created the posting change and then decide what to do.


Seems to me that it wouldn't be the simplest route at this point to start over.

 

Just FYI a posting change is not the same as a transfer order so not sure that exexcuting an LT01 had any effect except to move the material from one bin to another. The positive value of a material cant be moved to reduce the negative value because they are more then likely different stock types. The posting change must be processed unless you reverse it as I mentioned. Have no idea why a LI21 was attempted that doesn't make any sense so maybe training is needed.......

If I understand correctly, you have created an inbound delivery in ECC system and it is not showing up in EWM system.  First check SMQ1 in ECC.  If you don't see the delivery, then check SMQ2 in EWM.  If you drill into the queue and then double click on the StatusText column, you will get log details.  You can drill into the queue by using the Display Section option, and then on new screen use Display option again.  Or you can double click the queue name and then on the new screen double click the entry with the error.  .

Unfortunately, it is not possible to start over as you suggested... too many people tried to resolve the issue on their own before reporting it to IT.

 

We are looking for a way to resolve the current issue...  The post change notice was processed but like I said, someone (somehow) the user moved stock around via t-code LT01.  I assume they felt this would fix the issue but like I said in my previous post, this only made the problem worse. 

 

LI21 was posted in at attempt to clear out the differences that were created, right or wrong, it helped with the stock quantities, but posted a high value inventory adjustment.

 

I agree that future training is needed but I am not sure how this would be a solution for our current problem.  

 

If anyone else has a suggestion on how we can resolve the current issue (see attachment) we would greatly appreciate it.
