to my experience, the fixed finding of warehouse order creation rule 'MFS' is not given anymore. Since EWM 9.2 you can assign your own warehouse order creation rule.
These are the differences between roles H and J that I am aware of:
- Usage of multi-depth storage is permitted for storage type role J, only.
- Special MFS multi-depth storage putaway strategy for role J: Fallback implementations for BAdIs check for storage type role J.
- Deletion of entry in /SCWM/MFSHUMOVE in case HU-WT is confirmed and the destination storage type role does not equal role H.

I found the problem, I have maintained Srt Type Data(0080-0001-B001) in the product master as below, because of this Bin was not getting determined. I removed this data and tried creating WO, it worked. But I don't understand how this influence bin determination.

thank you for your useful hints.
I tried to solve it with a pack spec with two different levels. System first packs the quantities regarding first level and if necessary regarding second level. That is why on both levels flag "HU Creation" is set. But I do not want to get sub HU´s. The quantity should be packed into e. g. pallets (2nd level) or boxes (1st level) only. If I remove the HU flag on first level, small quantities will not be packed at all.
Example: Part A is packed on a pallet with quantity greater then 100 PC. For lower quantities it should be packed into boxes only. 210 PC should be packed on two pallets 100 PC each and one pallet with 10 PC (w/o sub HU´s)! 60 PC should be packed within 6 Boxes 10 PC each.
Do you know how to change the pack spec to meet my requirement?
P.S. If possible, I do not want to use BAdI´s.

Stock in IM and WM
Hi all,
I am not a WM person and this might be a very basic and simple query. I have tried to find but with no result.
I want to know the difference between the Stock lying in WM and IM (LX23 not showing anything). To elaborate - I have done a GR and a TO is generated. However, the TO is not confirmed. Now, I would like to know what stock are lying at the IM level and what stock are yet to be confirmed. This is required for a customized report. The table and field name would help me a lot.

Vendor Batch EWM(GR) to ECC(MSC3n)
Hi Team,
In SAP EWM in the GR transaction we have a field called vendor batch but when we post GR from EWM the vendor batch is not updated in ERP(MSC3n).
So is there any way to update vendor patch in ECC, please advise if any notes or enhancements?

Hello Lakhya,
LX23 is report which will tell you the stock differences between IM and WM.
Though you have not yet confirmed TO it will not show you any differences.
Secondly in your case stock is consistednt between IM and WM i.e Once you confirm TO it will get updated both in WM and IM.
Suppose in IM you have 10 Pcs and in WM 7 pcs then in that case you can see this difference in LX23.
If there is no stock differences then it will not show you anything in this report.

The issue is we are extending the structure in EWM which contains GR values, when it transferred to ECC we get it as 2 queues,
1st queue ( QM Lot )
2nd queue ( GR Values).
so the inspection lot is created in first queue itself.
the values which we pass is in 2nd structure.

I also faced this issue. Along, wit what was proposed by Giovana. Plz do check your target Storage Type. Plz ensure the below:
In General Section, you have below checked:
1) Use Fix Bin
2) Use Max no. of Bin and give number of fixed bins u want to allocate to Storage Type.
In the WH Prod, plz add the Target Storage Type with minimum and threshold replenishment quantity in Storage Type tab.
Hopefully, then it will work. plz reward if helpful.

BAPI to Delete the TU
I need to post the IDOC to create a new TU object referring the ECC shipment.
But before that i need to check the TU status from /SCWM/TU_STATUS table and remove the delivery linkage from TU and then delete the TU. I need to find a BAPI suitable to delete a TU.
I am totally new to SAP EWM Module. Please help me with this.

I have situation where ECC has project stock 1 EA. And eWM is 0 and physically we have 0.
When I tried to correct stock using /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK, I am getting following error message:
M7 018 Enter WBS Element
Message no. BL001
How can I enter WBS information in /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK?
