Hello Umit,

In EWM system Item category TAQ is not maintained.

Now just click on " Map item types from ERP system to WM System.

System will navigate you to that path there you can maintain this missing settings.

Hi experts,

Whenever we create WT for ID system automatically created WO at backend.

During this process system creates one WO per WT.

Our requirement is to club the multiple WTs as per the requirement and then to create WO for the same.

How we can make system to avoid auto creation of WO ?

How we wan club WT and create a WO for the same ?

Appreciate your help.

ramsy

Hi Anoop,

When I tried to confirm the WT system gives the error message and when I close the pop up box it exits the transaction. I am not getting the logs. I tried from WH mon and from /scwm/to_conf but unable to get the log.

I have the below information.

@ Olet : I checked both the SPRO paths. E1 storage unit is maintained for both DO01 and 0081 storage types and respective bin type P001/P002

Hi Experts,

I am executing Putaway scenario where based on the Destination storage type, sorting should happen and have 2 items in Limit Filter for custom WOCR # EXP1.

The WPT is Y010 and Destination stype is AF01.

But when I executed the same, system is unable to find EXP1 and took 'DEF' WOCR. In logs error mentioned  " Activity area does not exist ".

Please find the below screenshots and let me know If I am missing something.

Hello Yogi,

Have you generated the activity area for storage type ?

Have you assigned WOCR Rule in WPT ?

Have you assigned same WPT in Define Filters for Warehouse Order Creation Rules node ?

Olet

Hello Yogi,

Please correct the below config :

1. LOSC

losc.JPG

If you are doing inbound process don't give source storage type leave it blank(ST Typ1)

Just give intermediate storage type 0081(St typ2) and destination storage type (ST type 3).

Assign WPT and mark check ID point as shown above.

2.Correct settings in 0081.

Remove the check mark

Remove availability group

Hello Olet,

Thanks for your response.

I am able to get the AUM from the table however I need the packed quantity in the AUM not in BUM. I believe in the table the quantity field holds the value in BUM.

Dear Yogi,

0. Your warehouse process type contains an activity. Please make sure in configuration of the activity area that the correct activity is linked to the storage type or storage bins where you want the stock to be put-away in.

1. Once step 0 is done or confirmed, Please also check the activity area in the section activity area for your destination bin(s)? (/SCWM/LS03). Do they contain the activity you are using in the put-away process?  If not,  please (re)run and execute the transaction to sort your bins /SCWM/SBST.

2. Is the WOCR directly assigned to your WPT or not? If not, please try testing the process by doing so. If the test is successful, then check whether this configuration can remain or you should move the WOCR determination to customizing of warehouse orders. There the determination of the WOCR can be set-up based on filters.

Hope this helps? If so, please reward,

Kr,

Thanks Juergen for your inputs.

I have changed the configuration. Used WOCR category as ' consolidation group', Removed the WPT from Filters and the settings worked

AA1.PNG

I have few doubts like for Picking we have few WOCR categories but for Putaway which category we need to use. Here I used consolidation group and assigned consolidation groups in HU at the time of packing. But if we have non packaged items then how the settings will work.

Yogi

Hello Umit,

Check BD97 and SM59  in both ECC and EWM and check the RFC destination.

Check whether the correct logical system is assigned.

Hello Olet ,

First of all thanks for your suggestions. When I check BD97 in EWS, it was assigned to EWS100. But I changed that to SIT101 (RFC destination for BAPI calls, for dialog calls also). And when I check BD97 in ECC, it is assigned to EWS100 (RFC destination for BAPI calls). That's so far ok I think.

When I check SM59 in both systems, the RFC destinations are correct. But when I click on Unicode test in both systems I get the message : Error when opening an RFC connection CPIC-CALL.

And when I click on Connection test in both systems I see the following error:

Logon:                 Connection Error

Error details:        Error when opening an RFC connection CPIC-CALL

Error details:        ERROR: hostname 'BFESSIT' unknown (EWS). In ECC 'BFESEWS' unknown.

Error details         Location: SAP-Gateway on host bfesews.intern..... / sapgw00

Error details:        Detail: NiHLGetNodeAddr: hostname cached as unknown

Error details:        COMPONENT: NI (network interface)

Error details:        Counter: 114

Error details:        Module: /bas/745_REL/src/base/ni/nixxhl.cpp

Error details:        LINE: 198

Error details:        Return code: -2

Error details:        SUBRC: 0

Error details:        RELEASE: 745

Error details:        TIME: Mon Aug 22 15:28:33 2016

Error details:        VERSION: 40

In both systems communication type (Tab Unicode SM59) is Unicode, Codepage from client-side logon language. In ECC I the text: Laguage EN Code Page 1100 is shown, but not in EWS.

I have no idea what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Kind Regards,

Ümit Cakir.

Hi,

for putaway you use "pickpath". Yeah, sounds not right, but of course works. Or "distributive putaway".

"Here I used consolidation group and assigned consolidation groups in HU at the time of packing. But if we have non packaged items then how the settings will work."

That I do not really understand.

Hello Umit,

You don't do this activity better check with basis team .

For ERP > EWM shall be the destination and for EWM > ERP shall be the destination.

Check the ERP-EWM connection at below path in EWM

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > SCM Extended Warehouse Management > Extended Warehouse Management > Interfaces > ERP Integration > General Settings > Check of ERP-EWM Configuration

Re: How to group outb positions for creating tasks

Hello Michael,

I just realized you said "free of charge" item in delivery. You cannot solve this with my previous suggestion. If you can use discount item(55 in price of 50), i suggest to do so.

What can you do now? You can create a wave for these delivery items, maybe. Then you can have one picking WT with a quantity of 55(which is in your case one position). But after picking, delivery distribution has to happen due to restrictions in ERP. This can be automated with some developments though.

Try customizing wave first, then you will have a point. Wave Management - SAP Library

Hi Juergen,

I was confused by the name ' pickpath' so I didn't use this in my WOCR category. Instead I used ' consolidation group'.

My question was that in my scenario where all the products are HU managed, and I defined Consolidation group to each HU. Likewise system is able to find the consolidation group.

But if we use the same category for non - HU managed products then how system will behave.

OR we need to use "consolidation group" only in case of HU managed items.

Hope my question is clear now .

And thanks for your above answer that we can use " pickpath " or "distributive putaway".

Yogi

Hi Michael,

You can try below options in EWM

1. 2 step Picking / wave

First step of wave(Release Withdrawal) will consolidate total quantity of material for picking and the second step will allocate to individual delivery.

2.RF Consolidated /Combined picking

EWM 9.4 have functionality to display consolidated quantity of material on RF picking screen as mentioned by Juergen.

Thanks,

Sharad
