Hi Gurus,
How we can lock/unlock storage type in ewm during putaway/picking ?
In wm we can do it using ls06/ls07/ls08.
Do we have any transaction code in ewm for the same.
Thanks,
Srinivas

Hello everyone,
Thank you all of you for helpful advices. I could define one PACI for different St. types and quantities. All works. But I have a small problem with Warehouse Tasks (WT). When I change putaway strategy, WT for automatic machine is not created. What could it be and where to check?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Catherine
Hi,
I do not really recognize what you show in the screenshot.
But if a delivery is stuck between ERP and EWM, that means you need to check the queues (and I would expect a screen shot from a queue then).
You can not reject a delivery then (there is no feature for that), but you should find out what the issue is and get the inbound delivery in EWM created. Either there is an issue with the communication (and the delivery is stuck in the ERP outbound queue) or the qRFC can not be processed (so it is stuck in the EWM inbound queue) - then you need to figure what the problem is. And if you give more details, probably someone here can help you with that.

Hi,
"When I change putaway strategy, WT for automatic machine is not created."
That is a very different question. You should open a new thread for that (and close this one if the question is answered) and give some more details.

Hello,
thank you for feedback, but how i can check for queue (which txt.) ?
Sorry, but i am new in this area.
Thank you !
Hi,
SMQ1 & SMQ2 are the transactions to check the queues in both systems.
SMQ1-outbound queues
SMQ2-inbound queues.

Hi,
in case you do not find anything in the outbound queue and the inbound queue, you should check if an inbound delivery notification has been created. If yes, this might be inactive due to an error.
If if you still can't find anything, probably someone has deleted the stuck inbound queue...

Hi Sri,
Quantity classification can work along with packaging specification, where we maintain the quantity classification ( Example : one pallet = 100 EA )
at the time of putaway storage type search sequence , if we maintain the quantity classification also a criteria, system check the assigned storage types for relevant quantity classification and propose the destination storage type.
Example: we have two storage types with different Qty classifications pallet & eaches
If we receive 110 products , 100 can go to one storage type as per the packaging specification and remaining 10 qty can go to second storage type.

Hi,
"I have defined search sequence like SSq1 - Rack A > Rack B > Rack C."
I don't think that works.
If you use the quantity classification indicator (QCI) in the determination of the storage type search sequence, you need two storage type search sequences. One which has the storage type for pallets, the other with the storage type for partial quantities.
So first the QCI gets determined (as I described, either with a pack spec or aUoM. The link refers to picking, but it works the same way for putaway) and with that you then determine the storage type search sequence.
I guess what CK Reddy refers to ("Example: we have two storage types with different Qty classifications pallet & eaches") are the fields Qty Classifc. (QUANCLA) or PutawayCtyClass (QUANCLAP) in the storage type - but I have never managed to use these for any control during putaway (but as usual I would be happy to learn something new).

And I forgot: as I wrote before, I do not recognize what is shown on your screenshot. Are you sure at all that the inbound delivery is distributed?
Hi, Experts! I'm facing some dificulties to reverse a 2 Step Picking for a Group of Deliveries with LT0G and I would like to ask if there's any standard restrictions in this case, and if so, how can I reverse this 2 step picking group with sucess. Basically, I confirmed the TO's for Picking Step(Source Bin to Group Bin(Dynamic) to the Storage Type 200) and also confirmed the TO's for Allocation Step(Source Group Bin(Dynamic) from the Storage Type 200 to Delivery Number Storage Bin(Dynamic) at the Storage Type 916). Until here, everything is fine and working as expected. When I try to reverse the Picking confirmation for the Delivery using the tcode LT0G in Background, the stock returns to the Original Storage Type and the Delivery Picking Status turns from "C" to "A", and it's also fine. The problem is that, when I consult the Group(LX39), the Picking step is RED(traffic light) BUT, the Allocation step continuous GREEN(traffic light), with the TO's confirmed and without any change.. With this cenário, I can not continue the process, I can not repeat the picking steps using the same group, and also I can't change or delete the group or even remove the Deliveries from the Group to put in a new one due to the Group status(Allocation Confirmed). Is there anything i should check in the customization, or LT0G doesn's work to reverse 2StepPicking operation's and there is another standard way to do so? I'm using WM in SAP ERP 6.0. Best regards. Hi,
to trigger the distribution you use the delivery monitor. Here the TA VL06I, there is a button "For distribution". Search for your delivery in there and try to distribute.
You do have a not regular delivery I see (something for stocktransfer). Maybe the split by warehouse is not set for the delivery type, then it does not get distributed.

Hi Experts,
Could you please help me how to resolve this issue
Message no. IO208
You have already used serial number xxxxxx in another item.
You can only allocate a serial number for a single serialized material.
Processing will not be continued.
Allocate a serial number that has not yet been assigned.
This is strucked in Queue monitoring in smq2 transaction.
User is tried to change the serial status from AVLB to ESTO i had already sent the screen shots to change the status.
But he is asking me to clear the strucked queue in smq2
please suggest on this.
Thanks,
kaja
Hi Reddy,
Wave was released manually. No wave template were used.
Thanks,

Thanks Juergen.
We will check the note mentioned. If no solution, we will soon raise a ticket.

Hi,
you should check whether the event links are activated in ERP for BUS2045 in transaction SWETYPV.
If they are active it can be the case that the business key of the ERP is entered wrongly in EWM Customizing:
Cross-Application Components => Quality Inspection Engine => Central Settings => Communication with an External QM System => Define External QM Systems Select the QM system provided by SAP: SAP_ERP_QM and choose "Installations". Define an installation by entering the business key of the ERP system in the "Installation" field.
This depend also on your BADI implementation. Hope this helps Daniel
Hi, i sough in VL06I (for distribution) my delivery, but there does not exist.
Any other solutions?
Thank you !
