Re: PSA - destination storage bin determination

Hi,

a screenshot in detail view would have been nicer, easy to read then.

But works ok.

I can see that you have set the "staging method" to "Single Order Staging". This is only relevant for the advanced production integration, but I am not sure what this flag does when you use the delivery based production integration. Have you tried with the flag set to "Not relevant for staging"?

Also the WTPs on this screen have no relevance with delivery based production supply.

Hi,

"My storage type has role: D Staging area group. Is this correct?"

I have never set up this scenario myself, so I have never tested it. But the storage type created from the original BC set (which was 1005) has the role "K". Which I always thought as strange, but maybe this is how it works.

There is also this flag "Use Staging Area Determination for Outbound Delivery" in the PSA/produkt/bin assignement, but I have never work with that either. And I am not sure if it is really "better".

Re: Add button on Picking EWM RF screen

Hi Sir,

That's true. But we don't have any data on client 100 and running wizard on client 200 will be risky in case if it does not ask for Transport request for Customization updated by wizard.

Because in that case we cannot transport customization to 100 client using SCC1 as we don't have Transport request. So we have discarded that approach.

Hi Ananth,

Just check if you have these settings in place.

1. Cif plant vendor from ECC to EWM. This creates a BP in EWM automatically with id type CRM004 (for vendor). Enhance the BP with ID Type CRM011 & ERP plant no. as identification no. This BP represents the plant in EWM & serves as a party entitled to dispose for the warehouse.

2. Assign the party entitled to dispose to the WH (The assignment which you seem to have already done)

3. Map Plant/ storage locations/ Logical system from ERP to the EWM WH. In this table, ensure that the party entitled to dispose is captured against the entry.

Extended Warehouse ManagementInterfacesERP IntegrationGoods MovementsMap Storage Locations from ERP System to EWM

You need to carry out the steps in the above sequence only. It could be possible that step 3 is done before step 2 due to which the party entitled did not get captured in the plant/ sloc mapping table, which can result in this error. If that is the case, try deleting the plant-sloc mapping entry & recreate it & ensure that the party entitled to dispose is getting captured correctly.

Hope this helps!

Smitha

Inbound Delivery Split by End Customer - Transaction for inbound delivery creation?

$

Hello,

We are trying to set up the Merchandise Distribution scenario in which multiple inbound deliveries are created for a single PO with STO for different ship-to parties (ultimate consignees). Our Retail ECC is integrated with EWM for the Distribution Center.

We've already done the customizing at Logistics - General> Merchandise Distribution> Site Profiles for Merchandise Distribution. We've also set up the relevant Master Data at site level

ECC_IMG-Plant_profiles_MD.jpg

Now we are trying to create the inbound and outbound deliveries. We have tried with the following transactions:

- Transaction WF60. We couldn't create any delivery documents. I believe for WF60 it's necessary to post goods receipte in advance, but for EWM this can only be done via inbound deliveries.

- Transaction WF30. We could only create outbound deliveries, not inbound deliveries.

- Transactions VL31N and VL10D. We could create only a single inbound delivery, not several for each ultimate consignee, and the outbound deliveries are created.

Which is the right transaction to create the split inbound deliveries as well as the outbound deliveries, so they can be distributed to EWM for the cross-docking or flow-through scenarios?

Hi Jobi,

Thanks for the reply. It does work and the message is sent to RF handheld. The only caveat is that the message only shows up when the user hits enter while executing a transaction on the handheld. Seems to be SAP standard behaviour.

Thanks again,

Khan

SCM EWM Extendend Warehouse Managment release 9.30

Hi Expert,

I am working on Batch management process in EWM. The process is related to batch determination in EWM system. The step are as follows:

a. Create Outbound delivery in ECC system. Batch determination strategy determined.

b. Outbound delivery replicated in EWM and Outbound delivery order created.

c. I can see the few of batch determination strategy characteristics showing in EWM ODO but not all.(Out of 5 characteristics only 2 are showing in EWM ODO) screen shots attached.

So due to which when I am creating Warehouse task for picking system adopt the FIFO rule to pick the stock, But actually, I have made the stock removal rule, so that the batch to be fetched based on ECC strategy.

I have CIF'ed the batch to EWM system and the characteristics are assigned to Organizational area in both the system.

1. The following batch characteristics are used in my scenario.
Screen shot 1

Capture1.PNG

Screen shot 2

Batch Determination strategy in ECC delivery.

Capture2.PNG

Screen shot 3

Batch determination strategy in EWM Outbound delivery order. As you can see only 2 characteristics are showing.

Please let me know what is that I am missing.

Abhishek
