Business does not have idea of the route at that point of time.

Hi experts,

I am working with posc storage control.

step1. Door - Gr-zone

step2. Gr-zone - work center

step3.  work-center- Final Bin

When I create first WT manually by selecting "No Prc.St.Ctrl " system is creating final putaway WT i.e from Door to Final in Loc.

System is not creating First WT i.e from Door to GR-Zone .

Our requirement is system shall create first and third WT if we select the " No Prc.St.Ctrl.

Help on this will be appreciated.

Skip the Destination bin assignment screen conditionally

Dear Experts,

I have gone through multiple threads on SCN but couldn't find any solution for this.

I am using below process in '/n/scwm/rfui'

Inbound process-> putaway -> Putaway by cluster

My requirement is to display destination bin assignment screen for first HU only.

Right now this screen is displayed for each HU as per standard behavior. We are planning to use same destination bin for all HUs and hence

Destination bin assignment screen should be displayed only once i.e. for First HU.

Below theraed mentions about skipping RF screen permemnantly but I need to skip it for first HU only.

Customer enhancement in EWM: Skipping a screen in RF transaction

Is there any way to achieve it by config. or by coding in exits.

Please let me know.

Thanks and Regards,

Jitendra

Re: SAP EWM Perform plant to plant transfer of stock within the same Warehouse

Hi,

from what I understand you want to move the material and at the same time do a posting change not only from plant to plant but also from unrestricted stock (that is what I read from the error message) to blocked stock? Because in your text you described that you mapped the non-location dependent stock type BB.

The availability group and the flag mandatory in your storage type should take care of the plant to plant posting. But that does not mean that the stock type (non-location dependent) changes. For this you need to maintain the field non-location stock type in the storage type as well (and the desired target, so BB here).

Did you maintain this?

You only wrote "Assigned the availability group to the storage type : SC1 – SCRA". Or did I miss something?

Goods Receipt - After Putaway

Hi Experts,

When we do create unloading WT system updates the goods receipt status.

Also at same time in ECC 101 movement type is updated.

Is there any way to hold the goods receipt status in EWM/ECC system till Putaway task gets confirmed.

Material document is ECC shall posted after Putaway task confirmation.

Thank you in advance.

Hi CK,

Thanks for your time on this issue.

I would like to add the following:

1. Performing Posting Change would be not be a viable option as i have created a separate storage type where i would like to move the stock. Posting change does not give me an option to move the stock to a different storage type.

I wanted to implement this solution on the same way availability group works - If two different availability groups are assigned to two different storage types and if they are linked to two storage locations, the system should be able to perform a posting change between sloc to sloc.

2. The stock type role selected is N.

Nikhil

Hello Juergen,

I would like to add that i was trying 2 things:

1. Sloc to Sloc transfer within the same plant which are assigned to the same warehouse.

2. Sloc to Sloc transfer of stock between 2 different plants which are assigned to the same warehouse.

Lets us talk about scenario 1 first.

Yes, i was trying to do 2 things at the same time. Change the sloc assignment using the concept of availability group which was assigned to the storage type and also change the stock type of the stock to BB using the assignment in the node : Configure Availability Group for Putaway - Configure Stock Type.

therefore, the config would look like this: SC1 -  S8 – BB.

Also, i had only maintained the availability group SC1 in the storage type and not the Non loc dep stk type BB in the storage type.

When i used /SCWM/ADPROD, The system gave this error message :

Could not determine subsequent stock type to F2.

Nikhil

All,

For the scenario 1: Sloc to Sloc transfer within the same plant which are assigned to the same warehouse.

I tried this:

Since the system gave the error message "Could not determine subsequent stock type to F2", it meant it was looking for a stock type that corresponds to F2. Hence i copied the whole line with F2 and then changed the stock type to the custom one and assigning the newly created availability group and the Non Loc dep stock type FF.

Talking about the posting change from FF to BB, this was done by maintaining BB in the storage type.

Additionally, two more lines were created copying the stock types Q4 and B6 and custom stock types like Z4 and Z6 were mentioned. The entries would read like this:

Z4 - New Availibility group - QQ

Z6 - New Availibility group - BB

The reason why these entries were created so that system could perform stock type change from FF to BB by identifying Z6 as the corresponding stock type for B6.

Nikhil

Hi Abhishek,

It's possible to delay the sending of GR to ERP on customizing. But this only delays the GR status in ERP. On EWM system, the GR status will continue to be updated. This will cause a temporary difference between GR status of EWM and ERP inbound delivery.

SPRO --> Extended Warehouse Management --> Interfaces --> ERP Integration --> General Settings --> Set Control Parameters for ERP Version Control:

Captura de Tela 2016-04-18 às 18.57.16.png

Have in mind that depending on the "mode" you use, you may have some restrictions on reversing GR on EWM.

Felipe

Thanks Mrinal..

This note has similar requirement as that of ours but it talks about Outbound picking process.

We want it in Inbound-> Putaway by cluster..

Hello Nazeer,

I succeeded by this setting:

In the storage type configuration. This triggers a HU WT in background to my resource while picking in RF. And this HU WT triggers my layout oriented storage control.

Hi Ananth (and all),

Did you ever resolve this without manually assigning the source storage bin in the WT?

I am having a similar error:

2016-04-19_12-26-23.jpg

M product is assigned to stock removal control indicator PI04.

My configuration assigns storage type search sequence PI04 to stock removal control indicator PI04.

SRCI PI04 with Warehouse Process Type ZD01 drives it to storage type search sequence PI04 with Removal Rule ZSHE.

I have stock in Storage Type GA01 for this product.

The only thing I can see that looks odd to me on the log are the rule is ZSHE which is for shelf life expiration and this product should not be subject the SLED (it is a packaging material).  There is no expiration date against which to check, so I wonder if that is why it is not finding anything.

2016-04-19_12-57-06.jpg

I am also not sure if the message text "Storage Type search fully defined: no entry found" should not produce a 'no entry found'.

Let me preface my questions also - I am working with the end users to determine why this is not selecting the storage bin because their EWM consultants are very busy and this is a lower priority, so I offered to jump in and try to figure it out. I have a background in ECC WM, but not EWM - trying to learn a little as I go along here. So, thanks for your patience if my question is a little obvious.

Thanks! Jocelyn

Inbound delivery failed in ECC from EWM

Hi,

I have created PO from ECC and created inbound delivery which is distributed to EWM and notification also created successfully in EWM. I am trying to convert into inbound order and do the GR.

But in ECC the inbound queue got failed and I could see below errors in ECC.

There is no handling unit with identification 350003550000002182

Because of previous error, dispatching is not possible for ID 0900000732

Error during goods receipt posting

Basically system is trying to update inbound delivery in in ECC but its failed. I guess there is some HU config in ECC but I could not find the steps. Can some please help.

This does not cause an error. This is only relevant if VFDAT is not initial. Your storage type search looks fine.

You said you have removal indicator in product. Does it also have storage section defined? You may have stocks in storage type. But if they are not in preferred storage section, all other stocks will be filtered out.

May not be the case, but make sure stocks are relevant for your document stock type(i.e. available stock F2 = document stock type F2).

If you need further help, please post physical stocks screenshot.

Re: Negative Stock in interim storage types

Hello Senthil,

You need to find a positive qty stock and move it onto this storage bin. If they match, they will negate each other.

For your next question, negative stock is allowed at LIME section, SCM Basis. Goto: IMG: SCM Extended Warehouse Management >> SCM Basis >> Logistics Inventory Management Engine (LIME) >> Basic Settings >> Application-Specific Settings >> Determine Global Customizing Settings for Each Client.

As far as i remember, this is allowed in standard.

Best regards

Serhan
