ok, I have tested it. I can find the HU in VEKP and VEPO. I only noticed that in the HU actually only the Header Material is shown, not the components. Well, which makes sense.
"It is an issue for sending pack level details in our 856 EDI feed."
I think you should always consider sending such things from EWM once you implement it, not from ERP anymore.

Were you able to solve the problem? I am probably struggling with a similar issue. The destination bin for my first WO is the packing center as per POSC, but I am expecting that to be the bin in /n/SCWM/SEBA.
Not sure what is wrong.

Hi Experts,
In our Outbound process the Route will not coming from ECC outbound delivery. We manually assign the Route in EWM and the same route information should be updated back to ECC outbound delivery.
Is there any specific config to allow the route information from EWM to ECC outbound delivery updation.
How is it possible. Kindly let me know please.

i have been in EWM for almost 1 year, but still i feel very strange with WT items, always the first item will have a blank destination and the second item have a blank source .
this issue besets me a lot ,both goods issue and putaway can have this kind of issue.

If you are using the RF environment for confirming the Warehouse Task, then the Warehouse Task are Splits into 2 Items.
The First Warehouse Task is from Source Bin to Resource with whom you logged into RF Environment.
The Second Warehouse Task is from Resource to Dest. Bin the finally WT confirmation.
For Example:
WT1 Item1 Source Bin ----> to ----> Resource1
WT1 Item2 Resource1 ----> to -----> Dest Bin.

Can you check, either WPT is determined for IBD line items, if it is determined automatically source storage bin can also..
WPT can be determined with the combination of document type, item type and process type determination control indicator, which is maintained in the product master.
You can find the settings in cross process settings- warehouse task-determination of warehouse house process type.

Well, have you read the documentation? It it not extensive, but should give you some pointer at least.

In a nutshell: Planned replenishment works with minimum and maximum quantities. Order-related replenishment uses the required quantities form open warehouse requests to calculate the replenishment.

We are currently in the process of implementing EWM. We would like to use EWM's Catch Weight Management feature. We do not intend to activate ECC CW.
In order for us for use CW at EWM level, Catch Weight needs to be activated in ECC article master by setting "Parallel Unit of Measure".
However, SAP does not allow us to do this (by default) for existing articles.
One option is to create new CW articles. Unfortunately, this is not something the business will accept.
There is a workaround which is to implement BAdI: Check Changes Made to Units of Measure.
However, we are nervous about implementing this BAdI given the unknowns and financial implications it may have. No one in SAP has been able to give us a definitive answer.
It must be noted that will needs to be done for articles at a new warehouse which will not have any valuation.
Please advise.

I have done all the configuration for automatic HU creation once inbound delivery gets created.
Created pack spec and maintained 0IBD condition type in it.
Why system is not creating auto HU after inbound delivery gets created ?
Please let me know whether I am using correct condition type or not ?
Where I am missing ?

Please assign door to WPT in /SCWM/STADET_IN .
And check the box WPT in /SCWM/STADET_A$$.
Please check the logs in SLG1 this will give you clue.

I have on question which condition type we have to use for auto packing during ID.
I have used only 0IBD across all object (Level Set,Packspec,Cond. Rec and Doc. Type )
Do we use 0PAL anywhere ?

Your reply has all that I wanted to write and it has all my findings as well. I have been struggling with this for the last few days. Yes, as you mentioned, I also don't see anything specifically mentioned for the "User driven" Process in SAP Help. The SAP help only talks about "system driven" process and the requirement for source and destination bins is only mentioned for this process. SAP does not talk about source and destination bins for the "User driven" process, but I was thinking "what else could be the way to specify the source and destination"? I can't think of any other way.
Our system will have different storage types(and activity areas) along the conveyor and I would like to know if the storage types(eg. the ROLE) for the start / end bins for these stations should be different from the storage types of the actual picking stations? I understand that the aisle should be common for the two storage types and the activity area of the start/end bin-storage type and the specific storage type(picking station) should be the same logically.
I started this thread, to see if someone has already found a solution or can share some ideas. May be someone can?

Pls check in Tcode /N/SCWM/MAT1- Warehouse Product Maintanece/ Warehouse tab. Here whether you assigned the putaway control indicator asper your requirement and also check in SPRO/ Warehouse process type whether you assigned the source storage type and source bin details.

Good day, You have to re-think about the requriment we see here, In SEBA you we should create the bins for which pick pack pass process is working example FP01 till FP10 and once you cross this process from all the activity area then POSC will trigger for packing work centre and please use user-driven in WOCR rule not system driven.
Please use in RFUI it will work fine.
