Yes, my proposal is to try this. I can not say if it works or what the outcome will be. If EWM is trying to create the inspection doc in ERP and can not find an inspection setting - what will happen with the message? It might get stuck in queue and you might to have to clean this up regularly. Maybe there is also a BADi to control the behaviour.
