I will explain the business requirement in a more detailed way .
There are instances that client's customer advises their vendor to ship the materials to client's plant . Client can receive those materials at any time .Those materials will not be unpacked or there will be no value addition to it . They will be just Box in and Box out in the form of HU . Client does not know the content of Box (HU) being received , they just want to receive it and store or stage it in some place and move it out the after some time.
Can we achieve this in SAP or EWM or any other alternative way of meeting this requirement. I looked into the possibility of transportation cross docking , but it appears that GR is needed in that case . We do not want to do any GR of material (as in that case material numbers need to be created in system) . Intend to store just in the form of HU only without any material information.
